In observance of the 2012 Easter season activities at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo, a temporary one-way traffic pattern will be in effect on Kapiolani Street.

Traffic will be allowed only in the Puna — or southerly — direction on Kapiolani Street between Waianuenue Avenue and Haili Street during certain hours.

Specifically, the one-way pattern will be in effect on Good Friday, April 6, from 1-6 p.m., on Saturday, April 7, from 5-11 p.m., and on Easter Sunday, April 8, from 5 a.m.-1 p.m. Traffic will flow one way in the Puna direction.

During those time periods, parking will be allowed on both sides of Kapiolani Street.
